Storms forecast to hit Nampula, Zambezia, and Sofal provinces on Monday
Mozambique's weather office is now forecasting storms affecting Nampula, Zambezia, and Sofala provinces on Monday, 24 January, as a weather system makes its way around Madagascar and into the Mozambique Channel over the weekend. The low pressure system has reached the status of Tropical Disturbance and is likely to become a Tropical Depression tomorrow, with winds of up to 80km/h hitting Madagascar.
