Insurgents crossed from Cabo Delgado into Nampula province and beheaded one person in the village of Muaneia in the administrative post of Muonona, near the N1 highway.

The village of Nihamate just north of the Lúrio river was attacked by insurgents on Friday morning. No details have yet been reported.
