Mozambique could be one of the countries hardest hit by a new EU policy to charge a levy on carbon-intensive imports into the EU — including aluminium, one of Mozambique’s main exports.

Mozambique’s meteorological institute issues update over Moderate Tropical Storm Ana
Mozambique's meteorological institute has released an update (attached) on Moderate Tropical Storm Ana, whose epicentre is now close to the Mozambican coastline at Angoche in Nampula province. In the coming hours it will hit the mainland, weakening to become a Tropical Depression but bringing rains of more than 200mm/24h and strong winds to Nampula, Zambezia, Sofala, Manica, and Tete provinces, and to a lesser extent, Niassa and Cabo Delgado.
