18 August 22: Nhica do Rovuma, Palma
Insurgents attacked the village of Nhica do Rovuma, just under 30km from Palma district headquarters. Casualties and the extent of the damage are not yet known.

19 August 2022: Litingina, Nangade
A detachment of the elite police force UIR in Litingina, Nangade district, withdrew under assault from insurgents on Friday, with an armoured vehicle from the Lesotho Defence Forces reportedly destroyed.
