Cabo Delgado insurgents sweep through Balama district
Islamist insurgents launched an incursion into Balama on Saturday - the last district in Cabo Delgado province that had not yet been attacked - and killed at least five people

Insurgents infiltrated the village of Muambula on Monday morning, hiding weapons in coats, and opened fire around the high school and the market. There are reports of casualties but the numbers have not yet been verified. After the attack, insurgents moved to the adjacent village of Namacule and burned several houses
