17 October 22: Meza, Ancuabe
Insurgents attacked multiple villages within the administrative post of Meza, Ancuabe district, just south of the main N14 highway connecting Montepuez to Pemba. Four beheadings have been confirmed so far but provisional reports suggest the number of deaths is likely higher.
